Abstract

Calanthe wuxiensis, a new species from Chongqing, China, is described and illustrated. The new species is morphologically reminiscent of C. ecarinata and C. tricarinata, from which it differs in having white lip, lateral lobes long rectangular, apex gradually expand, middle lobe disk with three dark yellow short-crests.
