Ophiorrhiza assamensis (Rubiaceae), a new species from Assam, India

Abstract

The present study describes a new species of Ophiorrhiza from Assam, India. The new species Ophiorrhiza assamensis shows resemblance with O. mussaendiformis and O. nepalensis. Taxonomic description with illustration, along with dichotomous key to the taxa of Ophiorrhiza in Assam is provided here.
