Abstract
A new subspecies, Geranium donianum subsp. glandulosum is described here from Thangu village, Mangan district of Sikkim, India. The new subspecies is readily distinguished from Geranium donianum by its monochasial inflorescence; dense glandular hairs ca. 2.5 mm long on stem, petiole, and peduncle; leaves deeply palmatipartite; petal nerves adaxially hairy, staminal filaments hairy up to the middle or above, and nectaries glabrous. A detailed description, photographs, microscopic photoplates, illustrations and distribution map are provided for the new subspecies.
