Abstract

Two new species of Mandevilla from the Pico da Neblina (Brazil and Venezuela) are described and illustrated. Mandevilla neblinensis resembles M. puyumato and M. trianae , but it is separated by its larger upper part of the corolla tube (28–32 mm long vs. 8–20 mm). Mandevilla yanomamii resembles M. similaris but differs in its longer petioles (16–20 mm long vs. 5–8 mm), longer pedicels (8–11 mm long vs. 2.5–3.5 mm), and shorter lower part of the corolla tube (8–9 mm long vs. 18–23 mm). A key to the species in the Pico da Neblina area is provided. Both species are provisionally assessed as Data Deficient (DD).
