Abstract
Rubus calophyllus var. longipedicellatus (Rosaceae) is described as a new variety from Motuo, Xizang, southwestern China. It is similar to R. calophyllus var. calophyllus in having simple leaves abaxially densely silvery gray or yellowish gray appressed-sericeous, but differs in its long panicles nearly corymbiform, ca. 7–13-flowered (vs. flowers 2–7, densely clustered, nearly tufted), pedicels 2.5–3.5 cm (vs. pedicels 0.5–1.2 cm), and calyces abaxially white pilose and with dark purplish red finely prickle-like or finely subulate long glandular hairs (vs. calyces abaxially white pilose and usually without glandular hairs).
