Abstract
Peucedanum vasudevanii K.M.P.Kumar, Rampradeep, Hareesh, Jabeena & Maya, a new species in the family Apiaceae is described from Minnampara hills of Nelliyampathy forest, Palakkad district, Kerala, India. The species shows morphological similarities with P. pradeepianum but is distinct in many attributes such as hirtellous stem, lanceolate basal leaflets, oblong purple involucre bracts, subequal hirtellous rays, purple anthers, larger mericarp and six commissural vittae.
