Abstract

Two names in Indian Milletia (FabaceaePapilionoideae) namely, M. rubiginosa and M. splendens are lectotypified here as a part of the revisionary study of the tribe Millettieae in India. Original materials of both species were traced from BM, BR, CAL, E, K, M, MH, P and NY. Besides, the diversity of Millettia in India is briefly discussed. An artificial key for the identification of Millettia species in India is also presented.
