A new Amazon species of Clusia sect. Brachystemon (Clusiaceae)

Abstract

In this paper we describe and illustrate a new species of the genus Clusia (Clusiaceae) and compare it with morphologically most similar species. The new species, Clusia rubrifructa, occurs in Amazon lowland forests of Brazil, Colombia and Peru.
