Abstract

Fourteen binomials of eleven recognized species of Smithia are lectotypified: Smithia bigemina, S. blanda, S. blanda var. humilis, S. capitata, S. ciliata, S. dichotoma, S. gracilis, S. grandis, S. hirsuta, S. purpurea, S. pycnantha, S. paniculata, S. racemosa and S. setulosa.
