Abstract

Senegalia montis-salinarum is a proposed new species, related to S. burkei. This species was found to be a distinct edaphic entity, endemic to the Soutpansberg Centre of Endemism. This article also clarifies some taxonomic problems within the Senegalia burkei complex.
