Abstract

As part of the ongoing revisionary studies on the four genera Micropera Lindl., Pomatocalpa Breda, Trachoma Garay, and Didymoplexis Griffith (Orchidaceae), it has been found that several names have not yet been typified. The lectotype of Micropera obtusa (Lindl.) Tang & Wang has been corrected to neotype and subsequently an epitype is selected for the name. The lectotypes have also been designated here for four names i.e., Pomatocalpa armigerum (King & Pantl.) Tang & Wang, Pomatocalpa bambusarum (King & Pantl.) Garay, Trachoma coarctatum (King & Pantl.) Garay and Didymoplexis pallens Griffith in accordance with the International Code of Nomenclature for algae, fungi, and plants.
