Two new species in the Hieracium napaeum aggregate (Asteraceae) from the Southern Carpathians in Romania

Abstract

Two apomictic, polyploid (x=9) species of the Hieracium napaeum agg. are described from the Retezat Mountains, Southern Carpathians and illustrated with photos of the holotypes. Hieracium napaeiforme (3x) combines the morphological features of H. alpinum and H. pseudobifidum. Hieracium pseudorohacsense (4x) corresponds to the morphological formula H. rohacsense > H. transylvanicum.
