Abstract
Based on a single herbarium collection housed at CTES, a new species of Wissadula from Bolivia, W. sidoides, is described and illustrated. Morphological description, taxonomic comments, distribution, habitat, and phenology are provided. Wissadula sidoides is closely related to W. cardenasii, but can be differentiated mainly by its synflorescence, sparse multiangulate-stellate stalked trichomes on the branches and calyx, as well as the number and shape of the mericarps.
