Abstract
Gagea baskilensis (Liliaceae) is described from Elazığ, eastern Anatolia, Türkiye. It shares some morphological similarities with G. ramulosa and G. dubia but is clearly distinguished from them, mainly by its alternate cauline leaves, flattened beaked structures of bulblets in the cauline leaf axil, up to 2.8 mm long and oblong shaped anthers and short filaments and root features. Based on IUCN criteria and categories, its conservational status is assessed to be critically endangered (CR).
