Abstract
Guzmania tapichalacaensis Manzan. & N. Jaram. is a terrestrial new species from the Reserva Tapichalaca-Fundación Jocotoco, southern Ecuador. Distinguishing characteristics, a full description and illustrations of the new species are provided.
