Abstract

Fissidens curvatoinvolutus and F. pseudoadelphinus are reported as new additions to China. Previously, F. pseudoadelphinus was only known from Japan. Fissidens curvatoinvolutus, often confused with F. involutus, can be distinguished by its smaller size, crenulate leaf margins, and slightly asymmetrical capsules. Fissidens pseudoadelphinus closely resembles F. teysmannianus, but differs in having narrower, frequently falcated leaves, and a costa that ends far below leaf apex. Detailed photographs, morphological descriptions, and comparisons with similar species are provided.
