Abstract
The presence of the genus Ramalina in Iran is revised and 18 species are accepted for the country. Among these, R. arsenii, R. cf. conduplicans, R. implectens and R. lacera are new to Iran. Ramalina siliquosa and R. thrausta are excluded. Descriptions and notes on habitat, ecology, distribution, and conservation status are provided and an identification key for the species found or expected in Iran is given.
