Abstract

A new species, Cordyceps duyunensis, which was isolated from an infected pupa, is introduced. Morphological comparisons and phylogenies analysis of a multigene dataset (SSU, ITS, RPB1, RPB2 and TEF) support the establishment of the new species. It differs from related species by its smaller phialides.
