Curcuma ungmensis (Zingiberaceae): a new species from Nagaland, North-East India

Abstract

Curcuma ungmensis M.Sabu, Hareesh and P.Tiatemsu sp. nov. from Mokokchung district of Nagaland state, India is described here. The new species shows affinities towards C. inodora but distinct in many attributes. Detailed description and distribution are provided along with colour photographs of the new species for easy identification.
