Two new synonyms of Macromitrium tosae (Orthotrichaceae) with a key to Indian species of Macromitrium

Abstract

Lectotypes are designated for Macromitrium hamatum Dixon and M. lingulatum Cardot & P. de la Varde and the two species names are placed in synonymy with Macromitrium tosae Besch.. Thailand and India are new distribution records for the species. A key to Indian species of the genus Macromitrium is presented.
