Abstract

For the first time, chrysophycean stomatocysts from plankton of Lake Labynkyr and sediments of Lake Vorota located at the Pole of Cold of the Northern Hemisphere were described using electron microscopy. Sixty-nine stomatocyst morphotypes were identified, 18 of them were described as new for the science and 26 as new for Russia.
