Abstract
Eragrostiella bifaria var. secunda is reported here for the first time from India. A detailed description, distribution map and photographs are provided for identification. Caryopsis micromorphology of all the varieties of Eragrostiella bifaria is also provided for comparison. We also proposed the lectotypification of Eragrostiella brachyphylla.
