Abstract

Abies densa (Pinaceae), commonly attributed to Griffith (1854b: 19), is the name applied to a conifer endemic to the eastern Himalayas. The name is widely accepted as having been validly published by Griffith in 1854 (Singh & Srivastava 2013, Khuraijam & Singh 2015, Farjon 2017).
