Abstract

Lindtneria borinquensis sp. nov. is described from Puerto Rico, and characterized by a slightly tuberculate hymenophore, clamped generative hyphae, lack of cystidia and globose- subglobose basidiospores. Phylogenetically, the species presents an isolated position among other undescribed Lidntneria species and environmental samples.
