Abstract

Sorbus doshonglaensis (Rosaceae), a new species from southeastern Xizang (Tibet) in China, is described and illustrated. The new species is morphologically similar to S. kiukiangensis, but differs in having (4–)5–7 pairs of leaflets, ovate to semi-orbicular stipule, and yellowish white fruits.
