Abstract
Opegrapha leucophila and O. onchospora, two species of lichen-forming fungi originally described from Colombia, are newly combined in the genus Ancistrosporella because of their paraphysoids with enlarged and brown apices and their ascospores that lack a gelatinous sheath and have one end curved to hooked. Lectotypes are designated for O. leucophila and O. onchospora. Ancistrosporella psoromica is reduced into synonymy with A. leucophila.
